art of surveillance lecture series

the art of surveillance lecture series was organized in junction with artd 410 art of surveillace course. the course lectures’ include artists and scholars, ariella tai, anisa olufemi, dns collective (olivia ross, liz ayala and jessica zhou), garima thakur and vanessa taylor. the series and course critically examines the role of surveillance through digital art and the humanities and is couched within anti-racist pedagogic framework of black feminist theory. In this course, we created projects and inscribe texts that explore the ways in which the circulation of data occurs.
